Wave the flag and join us for a patriotic morning of music, activities, and all-American family fun as a nod to the upcoming 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding in 2026. Our popular Second Saturdays events return for the 2025-2026 season! The second Saturday of each month, join us for crafts, activities, games, an onstage performance and more family-friendly fun! These themed monthly events are designed to provide a preview of some of the classes, camps and other experiences we host at the War Memorial throughout the year. Meet some of our instructors and learn more about programs offered at the War Memorial before you commit to a whole session. Plus there’s free coffee for parents, and an indoor place for the kids to run around and burn some energy during those long Michigan Winter weekends. Each session just $10, or get all six sessions for $50. See you there!
