Second Data Center Informational Session

You are invited to attend an Informational Session regarding the Proposed U of M/Los Alamos Computational Data Center (Bridge Road & Textile Road) on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm hosted at the Ypsilanti Township Civic Center (7200 S. Huron Drive, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).
This second meeting is due to the first meeting held on January 14th reaching capacity.
Ypsilanti Township will be presenting:
AGENDA

• Welcome & Introductions - Brenda Stumbo
• Historical Update on the U of M / Los Alamos Project - Township Attorney, Doug Winters
• Legislative Update/State Representatives - Jimmie Wilson Jr.
• Question & Answer Period - Questions will be taken and collected via notecard. Presenters will answer as many questions as possible before closing comments.
• Meeting will end promptly at 9:00pm

The purpose of this session is for Ypsilanti Township and the State to get out the facts regarding the Data Center as we know them.

Be prepared to show ticket at the door for admittance.

No signs or noise makers will be permitted.

No food or drink permitted.

There will be no re-entry into the building.

Seating attendance is limited.

Each person attending must register for a seat.

No standing room permitted.Free registration is required (first-come, first-served).

If you reserved a seat, but are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket so the next person on the waitlist can be notified.

Future meetings will be scheduled as needed when additional information becomes available.
