We are so proud to be hosting world renowned mule trainer and our friend Paul Garrison III, Founder of Garrison Mulemanship and Training, this summer for two three day clinics! Paul will also be available for private instruction between clinics. The first clinic will be August 16th-18th 2024 and the second will be August 23rd-25th, These clinics will be in beautiful Gunnison Colorado at our ranch.
The clinic is three days, the first day will focus on groundwork, the second riding and arena work, and the third we will go on a trail ride. The clinic is $750 for the three days and spectators can audit the clinic for $25/day. A $250 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot in the clinic. Paul Garrison can be reached directly to reserve your space Space is limited so don't delay! Paul has animals available to rent during the clinic for participants that do not have their own mule. We have animals as well that can be rented. Gunnison Colorado is a beautiful mountain town with lots to see and do! Camping is available at the ranch for $20/ day without electricity and $40/ day with electricity. We will have a porta potty for the clinics but we will not have showers available during the clinic. Electrical hookups are limited. Pens/ stalls are available for $20/day is you bring your own feed and clean your pen. If you would like us to clean and feed it is $30/day. There are many great hotels in Gunnison Colorado as well.
West Elk Equine will also be hosting a foal lunch on Friday where attendees will be able to meet our 2024 foals dinner on Saturday night!
