Second Annual Ecopsychology Convergence at Gateway FarmWe’re excited to announce the return of the Ecopsychology Convergence! This year, we’ve decided to make the event free and donation-based so that as many people as possible can join. By opening the day in this way, we trust our community to support us in covering costs and helping keep this work alive.
Together with Dr. Charlie Brennan, Bridget O'Brien, collaborators, and guest speakers, we’ll explore our ecopsychological feelings, identities, and relationships with forests, rivers, seas, gardens, farms, towns, more-than-human beings—even highways. These bonds are fundamental to belonging and purpose, yet in a human-centered world they are often overlooked, denied, or disrupted.
Look forward to speakers and panelists, workshops, world café–style conversations, emergent discussions, and tree planting. Ecopsychology weaves sense of place, ecology, literature, Indigenous and cultural studies, and everyday practice into one living conversation.
Bridget & Charlie of Garden Juju Collective will be joined by Reset Brain & Body, S. Lily Mendoza (Professor of Culture & Communication), James W. Perkinson (Professor of Social Ethics), and other presenters. Expect to be challenged, reassured, stimulated, and re-enchanted.
🕗 Please arrive around 8:30 AM for registration and morning refreshments.
🥗 Lunch will be a community potluck—bring a dish to share and nourish one another in the spirit of reciprocity.
. . . . . . .
We also suggest joining us for the whole weekend - plan to attend Saturday's Ecopsychology, Place, & Self Workshop too.
