Second-Annual Early Childhood Professionals' Summit
Schedule
Sat Apr 25 2026 at 08:00 am to 03:30 pm
UTC-04:00Location
Muncie Central High School | Muncie, IN
This year’s theme, “Play Builds Brains, Advocacy Builds Futures,” centers on the science of early brain development, the critical role of play in learning, and the power of advocacy to strengthen systems for children, families, and early childhood professionals. Attendees can expect a day filled with an engaging keynote and breakout sessions, practical strategies to take back to their work, opportunities to connect with peers across the region, and time for reflection and inspiration.
We are thrilled to welcome Heather Bernt-Santy, creator of That Early Childhood Nerd, as our keynote speaker. Heather is a nationally recognized early childhood professional, speaker, and advocate known for translating research into meaningful, real-world practice. Her work challenges the field to think critically, stay curious, and advocate boldly for young children and those who care for them.
