Join us for a night of live traditional music with Seb Stone at The Dorothy Pax, with an opening set from the amazing Harry King! There may well be a few other guest appearances from other musicians, who knows where the night will lead!Seb Stone is a traditional singer, whistle player and uilleann piper from the Peak District. He sings a blend of traditional English and Irish songs, interspersed with a few choice tunes on pipes or whistles. In 2022 he won the Future of Folk Award at the Bromyard Folk Festival and in 2024, he released his debut album Young Tamlyn’s Away, and formed the unaccompanied harmony trio Culverake. He is a familiar face at many of the country's top folk festivals, as well as in Sheffield itself, where he can often be found playing in many of its sessions.
Harry King is an up-and-coming singer, guitarist and banjo player based in Sheffield. His dulcet tones can often be heard ringing out of sessions in the city, usually paired with his sensitive and thoughtful accompaniment. His performance will draw you into a world of its own, with stories told by a voice that must be heard.
