Join Portsmouth's Penultimate Pensmiths
Monday 16 March 6.15–8.30 PM
Coffee @ the Pier, South Parade, PO4 0SP
Free! Dress up warm. Parking along seafront free from 6 pm. A couple of cheeky spaces opp Coop okay from 6. (Beware permit parking 6-7pm restrictions)
Format
6.15–7.00 – Early-bird Write-In. Arrive early for a quiet writing retreat before the social begins. Stay in the flow if you’d rather skip the group part.
7.00–7.15 – Welcome: grab a coffee, meet your fellow scribblers.
7.15–8.00 – Prompt & Inspire: short writing update, creative prompt, or local literary highlight to spark your imagination.
8.00–8.30 – Social & Share: chat, connect, swap writing ideas—or just enjoy the view and company.

Free, but please buy a drink or snack to support the cafe:

Ciabatta, bagel, panini, or sausage roll

Join the Community
Whether you’re a poet, novelist, or notebook-doodler, Seawords welcomes anyone who wants to make space for creativity by the sea.
Come as you are. Write as you wish. Leave with a spark.
TBC Next Sessions: If this goes well again, we hope to continue on the third (usually penultimate) Monday each month.
