VEDA brings to you the experience of “Thiruvaiyaru in Seattle”, at this Aradhana. We have procured a high-resolution image of the revered Saint Thyagaraja Sannidhi directly from Thiruvaiyaru, for our temple. The musical tribute commences with a puja to Saint Thyagaraja before the traditional Pancharatna Krithis group performance by 40+ artists on vocal, violin, veena, mridangam, flute and kanjira, led by our talented group of Seattle-based professional Carnatic musicians. We invite all of you to experience this bliss in person or online at fb.com/vedatemple/live. Then follows the individual renditions by local schools and artists like you.
Individual renditions are limited to 5 minutes and group slots are 20 minutes each. Groups are limited to 8 people max. If you have more than 8 in your group, please register for 2 group sessions. Please choose the timeslot that has slots available - If "Available Slots" shows 0, that hour is full already - please choose an alternate timeslot. Group slots booked for a specific timeslot are subject to confirmation - we may need to move you to prior or next timeslot to accomodate existing registrants.
On the day of the event, please check in 15 minutes before your slot with the registration desk at the temple. The start time for your rendition within this timeslot will be provided at the temple, when you check in.
Renditions are restricted to Thyagaraja Krithis only. Please do not sing songs by other composers - we can do that at other occassions. Please restrict yourself to the chittaswarams (if any) only and no neraval or manodharmam please. It is ok to repeat songs sung by others. Kindly restrict your homage to the duration allotted. Your cooperation in this regard is appreciated. Please be dressed in traditional concert attire and use your own tambura/shruthi-box. Please feel free to bring your own accompanists if needed. Videos will be taken at the event at the sole discretion of VEDA; VEDA reserves all rights to videos and photos taken at the event and will use the same for all and any purpose, including playback at the temple.

Your registration is complete only after the payment is complete. Registrations are not processed at the temple and need to done on our website.
