About this Event

This event will also feature an Artist Talk titled "Navigate," where two local artists will share their experiences of successfully building full-time careers as artists in Seattle.
Featured Artists
"I'm a Seattle-based, Seattle-born-and-raised creative with a range of artistic and technical skills and freelance experience. I'm an industrious individual with a love for color, nature, and community that's been fortunate to work as a freelance illustrator and designer creating assets for public and private use with a variety of clients large and small. I'm a curious person that's always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others, now working freelance in Seattle, WA or remote -- let's start a convo!"
"I am a splash, acrylic painter and muralist who loves making a mess. As an emerging artist, I spend the majority of my days in the studio creating the colorful images that are slowly becoming my signature style. The basic themes found in my work are strong color contrast, exaggerated subject matter and drip techniques where I try to stretch the boundaries of surreal, pop, and abstract art. Integrating imagery of strong sensual goddesses and cosmic landscapes reflects my admiration for the divine feminine. Music is definitely one of my main inspirations. Songs are like stories that continue to inspire all of my work."

About the Seattle Restored Artist Development Series
Empowering Artists with Skills, Resources & Connections for their Careers
The Seattle Restored Artist Development Series is a comprehensive professional development program designed to provide artists with the essential tools, industry insights, and strategic networking opportunities needed to elevate their careers. Through a curated series of workshops, expert-led discussions, and hands-on training sessions, participating artists will gain critical skills in business development, marketing, financial planning, and creative entrepreneurship.
This series is a collaborative effort, integrating Shunpike’s Art Business Clinic (ABCs) to offer specialized guidance on the business side of artistry while co-producing workshops that directly support artists in navigating the industry.
With a focus on real-world application, this program is designed for emerging and mid-career artists looking to strengthen their practice, expand their professional networks, and access the resources necessary to sustain and grow their creative work.
Seattle Restored is a program of the Seattle Office of Economic Development, Shunpike, and Seattle Good Business Network.
