Welcome to EMBODIED: A Sacred Movement Space For Black Plus-Size Femme Magic, hosted by The Messy Movement Lab®.

Join us for a distinctive class that combines sensual movement and meditation, crafted to enliven your connection to your body each day. Explore enjoyable techniques to stimulate your senses, celebrate your body, learn exercises that enhance strength and flexibility, and learn choreography that will evoke your creative and sensuous spirit. Leave this session feeling confident in your body and empowered in your sensuality.

This class is two hours long with breaks in between exercises. No movement experience is required. All levels are welcome. There will be an opportunity for book signing and Q+A the last 45 minutes of each session.

**COVID Precautions** - PLEASE READ

If you are joining us in person for the EMBODIED TOUR 2024 by The Messy Movement Lab®️, we are expecting up to 40 people to join us in the class space. The virtual classroom will also be available for non-local and at-risk guests to attend.

We ask that ALL guests practice CDC-recommended guidelines for travel and face-to-face contact.

We ask ALL guests to adhere to the safety procedures set forth by The Messy Movement Lab®️ and the host site to ensure a safe and memorable gathering.

In solidarity with the caregivers, disabled, and auto-immune compromised communities, we will be offering a virtual class option to support accessibility and reduce the risk of engagement. Everyone is required to agree to the terms and conditions of our COVID policies to enjoy the space.

If you find that you’ve purchased an in-person ticket and you happen to contract COVID or any immune-compromising infection within 72 hours of class, you can reach out via email at [email protected] to switch your ticket to a virtual ticket at no additional cost.

1. We ask that a PCR COVID Test be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival. (covered by guests)

2. Rapid testing is required before entry into the class space. These will be provided by The Messy Movement Lab®

3. Masks will be required in the movement space with flexibility for short mask breaks as needed for airflow and water breaks. The Messy Movement Lab® will provide masks. Please be mindful of social distancing and asking for consent in physically interacting with other guests in the in-person space.

4. There is limited capacity in common areas to allow for social distancing.

5. Encouraged but not required: Be fully vaccinated and boosted before arrival.
