Do you worry about falling off, loosing your balance, or struggle with feeling truly secure in the saddle? This clinic will be for you!
Each participant will have the unique opportunity to ride the HomeHorse. A HomeHorse is a piece of equipment that assists you with engaging core muscles, pelvic floor, abdominals and obliques. It assists you with balancing and stretching, especially through the hip abductors, which directly translates to enhanced balance and core strength while riding.
During this clinic, each participant will get on the Home Horse and I will assist with pointing out each individual's unique strengths and weaknesses when it comes to riding. The HomeHorse is a piece of equipment that allows me to see what muscles are tight, weak, or compensating and causing you to feel unbalanced. For example, a tight hip flexor can cause you to loose a stirrup and I will be able to see that as you ride the HomeHorse.
In the afternoon, after everyone has ridden the HomeHorse, you will have the opportunity to apply what you learned about yourself and your seat and balance on a horse. You are welcome to bring your own horse (recommended). However, if this clinic interests you and you do not have a horse of your own yet, Revived Spirits has 4 lessons horses that can be utilized.
Everyone will walk away with knowledge about how their body is positively and negatively impacting the way they ride. Each person will be sent home with customized exercises to strengthen their seat so that you feel more secure in the saddle!
Feeling secure and balanced in the saddle = Freedom. Freedom to ride with less fear, freedom to go on those outside adventures, freedom to go try that local show, freedom to go to open ride nights, or on a trail ride with friends. Being confident and secure in your seat truly opens up so many doors for you and your horse!
