☃️Welcome to a new seasonal intensive and social dance hosted by Switchcraft; a team put together by Britni Weaver and Rebecca Murdock to spread their love of Switching and Stealing to Westies across Dallas!❄️Join us for a fun packed day where you will learn the basics and beyond of Switching and Stealing in a safe and encouraging environment! Come participate in both Intro and Advanced lessons for both skills! Learn a fun new Partnered Switch line dance. Play seasonal themed games! And stick around for a glow-in-the-dark Switch and Steal Social dance!!

~3pm Intro to Switches
An introduction to the fundamental techniques of your non-dominant role and switching within West Coast Swing. You will learn a set of low-risk high-reward switches you can use on any social floor.
~4pm Intro to Steals
An introduction to the elements and etiquette of Steals. You will learn how to spot ideal opportunities to steal in to the next birthday dance or steal jam and execute them with confidence!
~530 Switch Choreo! A partnered switch line dance!
A new choreo line dance that is a series of Partnered switch moves that will have you nailing your social switches from both roles when performed in a loop.
~7pm Surprisingly Smooth Switches
In this advanced class you'll find yourself seamlessly surprising your partner and yourself moving from one role to the next with a variety of unique switches.
~8pm Stealing with Style
Looking for flash? Panashe? Want to learn how to create your own entrances in to steals dances? This advanced class will help you recognize new connections and windows to join the steals game
~9pm Switches & Steals Glow Social!
Join us for an inclusive social where you can Switch, Steal, or just dance WCS to some great music! Glow necklaces will be provided to wear as a signal that you are open to stealing. Throughout the night you can lead, follow, switch and/or steal. Make this social what you want it to be!

That's right! If you sign up for the whole day of fun and learning, the Switch line dance and Social are free!
🫂Who can attend?
Intro classes require that you know your fundamental patterns and basics in at least 1 role. You do not need to know how to lead AND follow already!
Advanced classes require that you have switched before or attended the Intro lessons earlier in the day.
❄️Why check out the intro? You'll always learn something new when you review your basics and you'll meet new switch/steal dancers interested in the same mischief as you!
