Set in the beautiful surrounds of the Hellenic Museum this unique experience blends history with hands-on craft beginning with a historian's introduction to traditions surrounding candles fragrance and seasonal rituals in ancient Greek life—from midwinter rites and sacred offerings to the warming comforts of scent and light during the darker months.

With your historical grounding in place artisans from THEMATIKOS will then guide you through the process of creating your own full-sized scented soy candle. Select your vessel place your wick blend your signature scent from a selection of holiday-inspired fragrances then mix and hand-pour your wax before finally naming and labelling your bespoke creation—perfect to gift or keep.
