Jazz and orchestra come together for the WFSO's 2026-27 Season Premiere concert!
Pianist and Gershwin specialist Kevin Cole joins the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra for George Gershwin’s legendary Rhapsody in Blue — a work that brought the energy of the Jazz Age into the concert hall and changed American music forever.
The evening also features the Texas Premiere of composer Chris Brubeck’s Rhythms of the Range, inspired by the landscapes and spirit of his father's childhood in the American West. The orchestra concludes their performance with Elgar’s beloved Enigma Variations.
