Season Kickoff Celebration
About this Event
The growing season is here—and we’re celebrating!
Join us at Life Farms to kickoff our growing season with a day to gather, explore, learn, and celebrate everything that makes the farm come alive.
Spend the day touring the farm, meeting our growers and beekeepers, get creative, and take a peek at what’s in store for the season ahead. There will be something for everyone, whether you’re a longtime Life Farms friend or visiting us for the first time.
Throughout the day, enjoy:
🌱 Farm Tours — Explore the farm with a guided (by our farmers) tour and see what we’re growing, how we grow it, and what’s happening behind the scenes. Tours start at 10 and 11. Ticketed.
🎨 Art & Craft Class — Get inspired with a creative folk-art class taught by a local artist. Join anytime between 11 and 1.Ticketed.
🐝 Talk: Beekeeping and Sustainable Farming — Learn about our bees, beekeeping, and the essential role pollinators play on the farm and in local ecologies. Talk starts at 1. Free event/No ticket required.
👨🌾 Talk: Good Soil, Good Food, Good Health — Hear from Farmer Victor about organic farming in Florida, the growing season ahead, and decades of experience working with the land. Talk starts at 2. Free event/No ticket required.
