Many of you have asked during the season about the take-down, and how you can help. THIS is the event we told you to watch for! So, calling all friends of the show - we need your help once more to help disassemble and pack away this giant machine that we call the Geek Lights on the Corner. We’ll start the day by revealing the total amount of combined donations received throughout the season, culminating with the presentation to the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. Then we’ll proceed to the show's stage (aka, my front yard) and proceed to take down this beauty.
You’ll find the work is surprisingly easy, and the interaction with others is always fun. Shockingly, what took dozens of people hundreds of hours to assemble will be down, boxed, and put away in about 5-6 hours.
We’ll provide snacks, drinks, lunch, and everything you’ll need to help. And high schoolers - bring your Community Service forms, because we do sign off on them and it’s been said that you’ll never have more fun earning your credits than helping at the Geek Lights.
