The Seaside Coastal event is back for it's 9th year and proudly supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) to help #endcancer.The event held at the marathon capital of Australia is run along the coastal bike/walk path starting from Semaphore South. The course is an AIMS measured 10.55km loop. The start/finish is in the middle so you're never more than approx 5km from our aid station.
Distances on offer Sun 17th include 10km, 15km & a 21.1km half marathon. A self supported 42.2km full marathon option is available the day before on Sat 16th.
A 7:00am start for all distances. Race bib and finisher medal INCLUDED for all distances.
This event will have a "YELLOW" theme with trophy awarded to the person who best represents this theme as voted on by all in attendance.
Part proceeds to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) to help #endcancer.

Sat 16th - Self supported 42.2km full marathon.
Sun 17th - Fully supported 10km, 15km & 21.1km half marathon.
Note
All "coastalfunruns" full marathon courses are measured to equal a total distance of 42.195kms (42.2kms).
Depending on the location they will contain any of the following..
an out and back 21.1km loop, a point to point 42.195km, 6 x 7.0325km loops, 4 x 10.0km loops with an added 2.20km section or 4 x 10.55km loops.
Some of our courses are AIMS certified and measured.
Virtual Run -
Available for all events. Must be run on the actual event day at a convenient time and location of your own choosing. Includes race bib and finisher medal which would require collection when convenient as we do not post items. You will need to record your run on Strava or the like showing "elapsed" or "total" time, not "moving" time. Please send your run link or a screenshot to coastalfunruns to be included in online published results. Enjoy the journey as being Virtual means no cut-off time. All virtual runs regardless of distance at set at a fixed price of $25.00.
Self-Supported Run -
Available at selected events. Must be run at the designated event start time and location. All runners of each distance start together at the same time (unless noted otherwise). Race bibs and finisher medals are collected at the race briefing at event location. You will need to record your run on Strava or the like showing "elapsed" or "total" time, not "moving" time. Please send your run link or a screenshot to coastalfunruns to be included in online published results. Self-Supported marathon runs are eligible for inclusion in the AUSNZ 100 Marathon Club. Enjoy the journey as being Self-Supported means no cut-off time. All Self-Supported runs regardless of distance are offered at a reduced rate of $10.00 less than normal pricing.
