Due to popular demand, we have scheduled another seascape workshop for those who missed out on a place in the July and September workshops.
A workshop exploring expressive approaches to painting seascapes in acrylic, focussing on a variety of methods for applying paint in order to capture the movement and drama of waves.
The workshop will begin with demonstration of techniques and discussion of colour choices, followed by plenty of time to experiment freely.
After developing confidence in the techniques, we will apply them to a couple of larger seascape paintings based on images chosen from a wide selection. Each painting will be built up over several layers, with individual advice and support throughout.
All materials will be provided as well as refreshments morning and afternoon. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or there are excellent local shops and a cafe next door.
