🌊 Seaquest Southwest Public Seawatch – August🐬
When: Sunday 16th August | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: St Anthony's Head - Near the Bird Hide
Join us for an exciting morning of trying to spot wildlife along the stunning Cornish coast! Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, porpoises, seals, and seabirds, while learning from experienced volunteers and marine enthusiasts. Every sighting helps contribute to valuable citizen science, so you’ll be making a real difference too.
What to Bring:
- Warm, waterproof clothing & sturdy shoes
- Binoculars (we have a few to share)
- Camera (optional!)
- Curiosity and a love of wildlife
Accessibility:
There’s a National Trust car park at St Anthony Head with benches and info boards, and a toilet block including an accessible toilet a short distance from the car park for visitors. The open‑air headland itself is large, open countryside with grass, gravel and earth paths, but the majority of tracks around the headland are uneven, narrow and include slopes.
Booking: No need to book – just turn up! All ages welcome.
✨ Come for the wildlife, stay for the views – an unforgettable morning by the sea awaits!
