About this Event
Boston’s biggest free workout series, Seaport Sweat, is back for it’s eleventh season. Join us on Seaport Common and weekends on Harbor Way for a variety of classes with Boston’s favorite instructors. We’re proud to partner with & on this season of Seaport Sweat. For more information visit
Class Description
A 45-minute bodyweight workout designed to challenge your entire body. We’ll combine strength-focused movements like squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks with dynamic circuits to keep the intensity high and the energy flowing. This class is accessible for all levels and designed to help you build strength, boost endurance, and leave feeling stronger than when you showed up.
About the Instructor
Shane (he/him) moved to South Boston in 2021 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire and has worked as an Account Executive at Toast since then. He enjoys running, beach days with friends, and is always up for dinner and drinks.
His passion for fitness began after being diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease in 2019 and undergoing surgery just before the COVID-19 shutdown. During recovery, he rebuilt his health through running, biking, and at-home workouts, which grew into a love for strength training.
That experience shaped his mindset—focusing on gratitude for movement, consistency, and progress. Shane aims to create a supportive environment where people feel challenged and confident in what they can achieve. Follow @shanewhittredge on Instagram.
