Sean Gaskell will give a performance and educational demonstration on the kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa. Traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions will be featured during the concert."This program is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund."
