Center for Fraternity & Sorority Enrichment

In January 2024, FIU launched the first-of-its-kind Center for Fraternity and Sorority Enrichment in Florida. This center aims to holistically enhance the collegiate experience of fraternity and sorority members, fostering leadership development, social responsibility, and community impact. With over 40 fraternities and sororities and more than 1,500 student members, the center provides expanded opportunities and programming to support this growing community.Student Health & Wellness InitiativesFIU offers comprehensive health and wellness support for its students:

1. Student Health Clinics: Provide affordable and accessible student-focused medical care, treating common illnesses, offering routine check-ups, and providing psychiatric care.
2. Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS): Offers mental health services to facilitate personal learning, emotional well-being, and academic skills development.
3. Healthy Living Program: Provides health education consultations, alternative therapy services, and self-care products to help students build healthier behaviors.
4. Wellness & Recreation Centers: Offer fitness classes, state-of-the-art gym equipment, and adventure excursions to promote a fit and healthy lifestyle.
5. Victim Empowerment Program: Provides free, confidential crisis assistance to FIU students who have been victimized by threatened or current violence.

These initiatives demonstrate FIU's commitment to fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes student success, well-being, and personal growth both within Greek life and the broader student community.
