As they return to Major Tom's for the 3rd year in a row!Formed in Yorkshire 2020, The Jack Tars, with their authentic 19thCentury sailors clothing and traditional Sea Songs, will take you back to the ale-soaked taverns of old and provide a night of rousing footstompin' entertainment! Brought to you by a young energetic 7-piece folk band, the Tars have been captivating hearts in every port with their crisp fiddle lines, rousing harmonies and unique sound they are pioneering within the growing Shanty genre!
2024 saw the 'Tars' making waves in the UK and on foreign shores! They released 'All Hands', a full length 14 track album available on Spotify/Bandcamp/CD and went on a summer tour, including playing at International Maritime Festivals in Germany, The Netherlands and Harwich!
