This is our first regular Friday (dry land!) meeting, led (mostly) by adults this time). In the meetings to come, more and more of the meetings will be run by the youth!
Wear: Class A Sea Scout Uniform if you have one. Navy blue shirt/turtleneck if you don't yet. A sweatshirt or fleece is recommended; it may be cool. Uniforms available here: http://www.seascouts.sgtradingpost.online/
Bring: Notebook, water bottle, indoor shoes (to change out of boots), a friend!
Agenda:
- Flag ceremony
- Roles in a Ship (Tom Celignio) - everyone will hold a position. Elections to happen in the coming weeks for Ship.
- Game: Do you know your fore from your aft?
- Training: Topo Maps vs. Charts? How much do you know about using a compass? Indoor navigation exercise. How a nautical compass is different from a land compass.
- What do you want to do in 2025?
