We invite you to register and join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Concord Point Park in Havre de Grace, Maryland from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The Sea of Remembrance walk symbolizes the journey of love and remembrance for families navigating through infancy and pregnancy loss, offering a time for reflection and connection with others in that we are not alone. It’s an opportunity to honor each baby’s unique life and the memories they’ve left behind.
What to Expect:
Remembrance Ceremony, where families are invited to share their child’s name, a powerful tribute to their memory.
Family Activities: Opportunities to create memory keepsakes and connect with others.
A Serene Walk by the Water: Held at beautiful Concord Point Park honoring the memory of your little one gone too soon.
The Sea of Remembrance Walk also provides an opportunity for families and supporters to come together and raise funds for the Sea of Hope Foundation’s programs. The two top fundraising teams will be invited to attend our Wave of Promise Scholarship Program Award Ceremony, in the following academic year, where their baby’s name will be dedicated to one of the two scholarship award winners for that year. This gesture ensures that the memory of each baby will live on through the scholarships awarded to individuals pursuing education in honor of babies who've gone too soon.
In addition to the walk and ceremony, the event will offer families a chance to connect with grief support resources and organizations dedicated to helping those navigating the difficult journey of loss.
The Sea of Remembrance Walk is not just about remembering—it’s about building hope, healing, and community. By participating, families and supporters come together to honor the lives of their babies, support one another, and ensure that their children’s legacies continue through meaningful acts of remembrance and support.
