Restore the beach dune vegetation to stabilize sea turtle and shorebird habitat by planting sea oats.
About this Event

Join the Sea Turtle Conservancy on the Archie Carr Refuge and the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program at the Barrier Island Center to restore the beach sanctuary dunes by planting sea oats. Meet at 9 am and stay until 12:30 pm. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunblock and a garden trowel. Sign-up by purchasing a free ticket for an individual or a family on Eventbrite. Call the Barrier Island Center at 321-723-3556 if you have questions. Thank you to the Disney Conservation Fund, the Doris M. Carter Family Foundation, and dots.eco for funding this workshop.
