Accommodation

The Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel has provided a special rate for this event: $179 + HST + 3% marketing levy. Book by January 10, 2025:

Trade Show

The 2025 Trade Show has space for 20 exhibitors to meet sea farmers and promote their products or services. Exhibitors will be provided with an 8’x10’ pipe and drape booth in the Trade Show, and can expect to interact with up to 200 conference delegates during coffee breaks and lunch, which will be served alongside the Trade Show. Booths include one complimentary conference ticket, including the Farmed Seafood Reception on February 5. Exhibitors will be acknowledged on the conference website and on social media, and have access to private meeting space for confidential customer interactions.

Sponsors are an integral part of the success of the Sea Farmers Conference and Trade Show. The support of sponsoring organizations helps to showcase the aquaculture industry and bring AANS members together, and provides a promotional opportunity for your company. Farmed Seafood Dinner Reception

Sea Farmers 2025 will feature a reception style dinner, included with registration, for all conference delegates on February 5, 7 - 10pm. The dinner will showcase our locally farmed seafood, complemented by locally produced beverages in a social setting so you can catch up with your sea farming network. A dinner ticket is included with the price of your conference ticket. Standalone dinner tickets will be for sale in January.

Student Awards and Scholarship

The AANS Student Awards and Scholarship were established to help advance the aquaculture industry through supporting students who demonstrate outstanding projects related to the aquaculture industry. There are two poster awards, one oral presentation award, and one scholarship. The awards and scholarships are made possible through the generous donations of Sea Farmers Conference sponsors.

AGM

The AANS Annual General Meeting will be held on February 5, 4:45 - 6:00; information will be circulated to members via email.
