Sea Creatures Art Camp
Something's lurking beneath the surface — and it's totally adorable.
🌊🐠 Sea Creatures Art Camp is three afternoons of underwater-inspired art for kids ages 6–12. We're drawing from the depths of Lake Superior AND the open ocean to create a collection of sea creature masterpieces. From painted rocks to clay critters to sweeping ocean canvases — this camp is a deep dive into creativity.
Three days. Six projects. All the creatures of the deep.
🎨 Day 1 — Into the Deep Canvas Campers paint their own underwater world — a Lake Superior lakescape or open ocean scene filled with their favorite creatures. Watercolor or acrylic, every canvas is a unique underwater adventure to take home same day.
🐙 Day 2 — Clay Creatures of the Deep Time to sculpt! Campers hand-build their favorite sea creatures in studio clay — octopus, fish, sea turtle, clam, you name it. Pieces will be kiln-fired and glazed at HOTplate, ready for pickup in approximately 2–2.5 weeks.
🪸 Day 3 — Shells, Rocks & Treasures The final day of underwater magic! Campers paint rocks as adorable sea creatures AND hand-build air dry clay shells or starfish to take home same day.
