We will be going down on Sunday Afternoon, leaving from Mentor (Norton Pkwy by 615) at 2:30 PM, 10/12/2025. We have done this quite a few times with Competition Corvette in the past.
We have rooms blocked at the Best Western, 4929 East Pike, Zanesville, OH with our contracted rate of $85 per night plus tax. They have a great hot breakfast also. Sunday we will cruise back roads from Sugar Creek down and have dinner at the Oriental Super Buffet this time in Zanesville Sunday Evening.
All Routes will have a lot of curves, hills, and great scenery.
On Monday we will be doing the 217 mile route with Lunch in WV that we have done in the past. This would be all day getting back about 5 PM. This has been very popular and a favorite route for a lot of people in the club.
Tuesday we are tentatively planning to do the Ohio 555 Full Route. We will have lunch and then have a challenging Route back up to Zanesville.
We do have a few people that want to come down just for the Monday Drive. The pace for Monday will be slower. You can come down on Sunday and just do the Monday Route if you like.
We will still have a morning route on Wednesday before we come back home. You will be able to participate on any days that you like. You do not need to come down on Sunday with the group. You must be a member of Competition Corvette to bring your car down.
If you are going by yourself, (single driver) it is fine.
We will be changing the 2nd car behind us frequently and changing pace to that car. You must have an FRS Radio to communicate. We use Midland GXT1000P series radios, they work very good.
