About this Event
Breathe, stretch, and reconnect at Yoga at the Birdwing with SDRVC. Enjoy a mindful outdoor practice overlooking the San Dieguito Lagoon.
Practicing in nature offers a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the world around you—while supporting SDRVC’s work to protect and preserve the San Dieguito River Valley through conservation, restoration, education, and community involvement.
Third Saturday Yoga is led by Susan McCrea and features a mindful, warming vinyasa flow. Practice includes music to help set the mood for this wonderful practice.
Bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Water bottles and towels are also recommended to keep you hydrated throughout the session. Please note this practice is outside on the hard rocks/dirt. ~.21miles down easy trail from staging area
Birdwing Open Air Classroom is a short hike east on the Coast to Crest Trail from the San Dieguito Lagoon Staging Area it can be tricky to find. Turn South on San Andres, between the banks, behind the Petco shopping center the third DIRT ROAD driveway will lead you to the off street parking/staging area - Park at the far end near the trail head and head east
