From the foundational open-source software in the life sciences — to its large community coming together
About this Event

The scverse (scverse.org) conference in November 17 – 19, 2025 will bring together leading scientists, developers, engineers, and researchers from the broad computational biology community. One of the special things about the scverse conference is its strong focus on computational methods, data modeling approaches, and software infrastructure, — and on their key role in the research in modern biology. Featuring keynotes from the leaders in the field, talks from the early career researchers, poster sessions, workshops, and networking, the scverse conference is a unique opportunity to connect to its participants from around the world and build new collaborations.

The ticket fee includes conference attendance for all three days, with the two days in Stanford plus one day of satellite workshops hosted with our partners across the Bay Area.

For the latest information on the agenda, keynote speakers, and workshops, visit the conference website: https://scverse.org/conference2025/.

The inaugural edition of the scverse conference in Munich, Germany in September 2024 was attended by 200 people and hosted 12 workshops contributed by the participants. In 2025, it’s coming to California! The conference will feature scientific discussions and tutorials on our widely used tools, designed for an interdisciplinary audience of computational biologists from academia and industry.

To see how the conference looked and felt like last year, check the highlights in blog post: https://scverse.org/blog/2024-conference-summary/. Please be advised that this event may be filmed, and official photographs and videos may be used for documentation and promotional purposes such as on the scverse website and social media. By registering for this event and entering this event venue, you consent to scverse using your image and likeness.
