Sculpture Co. + Fundere Open Studios: Day Two, Session Two

Sculpture Co. + Fundere open studios is an engaging two day event as part of Melbourne Design Week 2026. Visitors will have a rare opportunity to receive a behind the scenes insight into the fabrication of public art and sculpture production at our expansive facility in Sunshine.

Participants will have a guided tour of the facilities, including the bronze foundry, and lost wax studio, led by Sculpture Co. Co-Director and sculptor Jason Waterhouse. There will be a live bronze pour, and opportunities to speak to the sculpture technicians about various approaches and techniques involved in the art fabrication process. The team at Sculpture Co. will offer valuable insights into working with an art fabricator and the many intricacies around producing large scale public art and sculpture projects.
This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2026, an initiative of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
