Scripting Worlds: Nature Walk to Feel & Flow Writing Workshop
About this Event
Scripting Worlds is a flow-paced creative gathering for anyone who needs a reason to slow down and think (or feel) — without an agenda, a deadline, or a blank page that stares back.
We'll start with a mindful 15-20 minute walk through the Buddy Attick trail, taking time to really absorb the beautiful and bountiful nature of this park. We'll then stop half-way through at a spacious peninsula where we will set up to begin a calming stretch routine with breathwork to reduce any lingering tension and prepare us to dive into our creative minds.
From there, it will be open writing and illustration time — completely unstructured, prompted only by a single word, phrase or question to help get you started.
What you decide to write or create is totally up to you!
You can write toward the life you want. Draft the first chapter of a novel you've been wanting to get out. Process a hard week. Dream up something bold, half-formed, or completely new!
The point isn't productivity, it's permission without a pressing need to finish — just start.
You don't have to be a writer or an artist to attend. Just show up & explore more of your connected & imaginative side. :)
What to Bring:

- Something comfortable to sit on (i.e. yoga mat, blanket, chair, pillow, etc.)

- New journal and pens provided (bring your own as desired)
- Light snacks or refreshments
