🎭 Tulsa Public Theatre’s Script Circle: Quiche by Brandon Monokian!

Ready for another night of theater and conversation? Join us for Script Circle, where we’ll dive into Brandon Monokian’s absurd horror comedy - Quiche.

Teenage serial killer Danica is on a quest to sacrifice 75 hearts to Aphrodite, Goddess of Love by Valentine's Day. Can she manage that and still find time to study for the big math test?

• Location: Archer Room, Rudisill Library

❓How It Works:

• Volunteer to read a role or simply listen and enjoy. The vibe is casual, snack breaks are encouraged!

• Scripts will be provided as PDFs to access on personal devices via Google Drive. (A limited number of paper copies will be available.)

• After the reading, we’ll discuss the play, its themes, and the experience of bringing it to life together.

• Snacks and water provided! You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks (personal only or to share!).

Cast of Characters

Danica: A relentlessly hopeful and ambitious young serial killer.

Chester: A typical teenage boy with typical teenage girl trouble.

Aphrodite: The Goddess of Love.

Darla Jo: A stripper with a love for cigarettes. Owns a chihuahua.

The Chihuahua: Belongs to a stripper. Has hopes. Has dreams. Is simply a chihuahua.

Claire: A zombie cheerleader who can’t seem to keep herself together

Denise: A zombie cheerleader who is late for Algebra.

Stacey: A zombie cheerleader who, like, yeah, sleeps with pole vaulters.

Bobby Walker: An extraordinary and gifted teenage pole vaulter.

Luke: A man.

Laura: A woman.

Director: A soap opera director who wants to go home for the day and poop.

Loudspeaker Voice: A voice on a loudspeaker.
