She began her career as a creative executive with the David Geffen Company where she was responsible for finding and developing the screenplay BEETLEJUICE and attaching Tim Burton to direct.
Lewis also worked as a Vice President of Development Frank Mancuso Jr.’s company at MGM where she was involved with the productions STIGMATA and RONIN and then for Odd Lott Entertainment where she was based until 2002 when she segued into non scripted television. During her film career Lewis was responsible for the development and sale of over 50 projects.
After a long, successful career, Lewis fled Hollywood and lives and works inGulfport, Florida where she teaches creative writing and runs her own consulting service, www.thatcriticaleye.com.
