About this Event
Facing the Wind is an intimate, unfiltered look at life with Lewy Body Dementia--not from a textbook, not from a diagnosis. From the inside. It captures the confusion, the fear, the moments of clarity, and the reality families are living every day—often without answers. The story follows two women who become friends due to a connection when their husbands are living with Lewy Body Dementia.
Join us for this FREE (and open to the public) screening of "Facing the Wind". Brought to you by AGE of Central Texas, Central TX LBD Support Groups - Care Partner and "Living Together with Lewy", Silverado Memory Care & Hospice, and our host St. John's United Methodist Church.
The Reality -- Lewy Body Dementia is:
· The second most common form of progressive dementia
· Frequently misdiagnosed or missed entirely
· One of the most emotionally and physically complex conditions for families and caregivers
And yet—most people have never heard of it.
