Logistics:In French with English subtitles. Open to everyone upon registration.

Synopsis: What do Black people in France have in common? Not much—aside from the color of their skin and the racism they face. For the first time, the film Blacks in France gives voice to Black French people of all ages and backgrounds, whether well known or unknown to the general public. This documentary traces their stories—shaped by prejudice and stereotypes, yet also marked by hope and pride. These Black people in France are building a history that is constantly evolving. With the participation of Yannick Noah, Maïly Koudou, Maboula Soumahoro, Soprano, Ibrahima Bouillaud, Jean-Pascal Zadi, Pap Ndiaye, Kathy Laurent Pourcel, Karine Baste-Regis, Didier Vieillot…

In collaboration with Rencontres des Auteurs Francophones.

Organized by the Princeton University's Princeton Film Festival organization. We thank our sponsors and partners for their support (complete list ). Open to everyone regardless of identity. All rooms are wheelchair-friendly and attendees can contact us at [email protected] for special accommodations (preferably 48 hours before the scheduled event).
