We live in a digital world where technological advancement and their integration in our lives grows deeper and faster each day. The nation, and indeed the world, is rallying around the growing recognition that social media and excessive screen time are contributing to serious mental health concerns among our youth. To address this, we must focus on prevention by learning the latest research, establishing good habits, and setting boundaries at school and home early on.
FOSB’s PIE Committee and select Salmon Bay K-8 staff invite our community to join us for a viewing and post-discussion of Screenagers - the original version focused on middle- and high-schoolers on Nov 6, and the newest elementary version on Nov 13 in the cafetorium. https://www.screenagersmovie.com/
