Screen-Printing with Notorious - The Social Studio

Join us after hours on Thursday 7 May for an evening of sparking collaboration and conversation at our May session of The Social Studio!

This month’s activity will be ‘Screen-Printing with Notorious’ - a fun and colourful opportunity to design and create T-shirts by screen-printing. Through the use of second-hand materials, you’ll offer a new life to an item through personalisation.

We will be welcoming our host Millie, from local business Notorious. All equipment and materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own items along with you to screen-print with.

Alongside The Social Studio, we will also be hosting our ‘After-Shift Thrift’ evening event with Manchester-based collective Future Fashion Fair. You’ll have chance to join in the other activities on the night and have a mooch around our open retail spaces too.

You don’t need have any screen-printing or design expertise to take part in our session - the aim of the evening is to try something new, relax, meet new people and support your local.

Limited tickets are available to purchase here. We’ll provide all the materials, equipment and encouragement you will need… all you need to bring is yourself! To keep you fuelled, our café will be serving a one-pot dish, hot drinks, soft drinks, homemade cakes and snacks during the event.

The Social Studio will take place on Thursday 7 May, 6:30pm – 8pm, at the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore, Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley, OL5 9AH. Please note that this event is 18+.
