A hands-on workshop for designers and creatives who are print-curious and looking for an approachable place to begin.
About this Event

Are you a creative who’s curious about screen printing but has no idea where to begin? This hands-on workshop takes you from never having screen printed (or maybe it’s been a while) to walking out the door with a finished print of your own work.

Led by Robert Brochu @8088y80y, this session is designed for designers and creatives who are print-curious and looking for an approachable place to start.

What You'll Leave With

By the end of the workshop, you will know how to:

  • Develop one-color artwork for screenprinting (video call required prior to the workshop)
  • Prepare artwork and transparencies
  • Coat screens with emulsion
  • Expose and wash out screens
  • Set up screenprinting equipment
  • Mix ink
  • Register and print
  • Reclaim screens for future use

You’ll not only leave with prints of your own original artwork, but take home one print from each of the other participants to build a collection representing the entire workshop.

Schedule and Deadlines
  • Prep call: Thursday, September 3 at 6:00 PM. We will walk through developing your one-color artwork together (this call will be recorded for those that cannot attend).
  • Artwork due: Wednesday, September 17
  • Workshop: Thursday, September 24, 6:00 to 8:00 PM
