Screen Printing 101

Prerequisites: None. This class is intented for students that are new to screen printing and have not yet taken the screen printing class at the Innovation Hub.

Summary:

This 3-hour class will prepare you to use the screen printing equipment independently at the Innovation Hub. You will walk through the steps of creating a design, exposing your screen, inking your screen, and printing your totebag. Due to time constraints, each participant will be limited to the creation of one totebag, and no personal items brought to class will be used for printing. For printing of personal items, please make a reservation at Tinker Time.

Your instructor is Isaac! Here's what Isaac has to say about himself:

I love learning new things and using that knowledge to teach others. I enjoy 3D printing, as well as silk screen printing at the makerspace. I love playing pickleball because long arms and lots of height give me a big advantage. I am a very outdoorsy person, and enjoy mountain biking, skiing, and body boarding.
