Auditions are now open for Scream(ing): A Very Scary Musical Parody! Our newly workshopped jukebox musical and loving parody of the beloved horror film Scream.
AUDITIONS
Tuesday, July 28
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Backdoor Theatre
4319 SE Hawthorne Blvd (you can enter through Common Grounds and walk directly through to the back!)

Please prepare approximately 1–1.5 minutes (or 16–32 bars) of a song that shows you off best and lets us get to know you as a performer. The music in the show spans several genres, so sing something you love! Accompaniment will be provided. If you'd prefer to use a karaoke track, please provide a link ahead of time so we can have it queued up for you.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held on Monday, August 3rd from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Not all roles may require callbacks, and in the event of a callback materials and sides will be provided in advance.
REHEARSALS
September 13 - October 27 (tentative dates/days of the week upon request)
PERFORMANCE DATES
October 28 - November 6
This is currently planned as a limited run (for now!). Performers' availability will absolutely be taken into account when building the rehearsal schedule.
All performers will receive a $500 stipend.
All roles are OPEN to all performers.
We are seeking a diverse cast of performers of all gender identities, races, ethnicities, sizes, and abilities. Characters will retain their written names, but performers of all gender identities will be considered for every role. Some character tracks may be doubled.
