Scratchdown: Austin DJ Battle & Competition Series

Scratchdown is where DJ competition meets live entertainment.

Inspired by the energy, storytelling, and excitement of a championship showdown, Scratchdown puts Austin's DJs through four rounds designed to test creativity, originality, music knowledge, technical skills, and crowd control.

This isn't a traditional DJ battle.

It's a live experience built for DJs, music lovers, and anyone who enjoys seeing talented people compete under pressure.

Each DJ will compete through four rounds:

🎵 Round 1: Freestyle Showcase
Show us who you are as a DJ.

🎵 Round 2: Live Blend / Remix
Create something unique in real time.

🎵 Round 3: Theme Set
Adapt to a specific theme and keep the crowd engaged.

🎵 Round 4: Scratchdown Challenge
The top two DJs advance to a live challenge round.

The challenge is drawn live from suggestions submitted by the audience and judges. DJs get 10 minutes to prepare before going head to head to qualify for the championship.

The crowd has a voice.

Audience members can vote for their favorite DJ each round.

Judges rank competitors based on:

Points are tracked live throughout the event so everyone can follow the standings.

Scratchdown is a season-long competition.

Each qualifier winner advances to the Scratchdown Championship, where the season's top DJs will compete for a larger prize pool, championship bragging rights, and the Scratchdown title.
