About this Event

Arts Connect is designed with creatives and artist families in mind as a place to recharge, be nourished, and be inspired.

Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids or grandkids this summer? Are you a professional or emerging artist looking to brush up or learn a new medium? Are you back from art school for the summer and want to connect with your parents?

Bring some friends who you want to catch up with, and try a new medium together!

Each workshop will feature two teaching artists, each offering their own perspective and skills.

All children will be admitted to the event free of charge. Multicultural, healthy food from local restaurants will be provided to all participants, and free diapers will be given to families who have children in diapers.

All classes will be offered in both Spanish and English.

Arts Connect intends to be an intergenerational gathering and a place for people to explore new art materials or processes. In each class, participants will have the option to create artworks individually or together with their families.

This workshop series is a unique opportunity for individuals and artist families to create and grow lasting relationships with each other that go beyond this one workshop.

By providing free diapers and a delicious meal for participants, these workshops will also ease a financial burden for everyone in attendance.

Classes will be capped at 25 participants each so that instructors are able to give individualized attention to each participant.
