About the Programme/Event

Dive into the world of Scrabble in this beginner-friendly workshop! Covering the essentials, from drawing tiles to crafting words and tallying scores, it's the perfect introduction to the game. Join us for a fun and interactive session! This session will equip you with the skills to play Scrabble competitively, and you will get to participate in the Singapore National Scrabble Championship!

This programme is organised in collaboration with the Singapore National Scrabble Championship.

By participating in this segment, you will be qualified to participate in the competition, with chance to win awards!

Please find the schedule below:

10.30am – 12pm: Workshop

12pm – 12.45pm: Lunch at your own time

12.45am - 1.30pm: Registration and briefing for mini-competition

1.30pm – 5.15pm: Joining the Singapore National Scrabble Championship (Div F – For Beginners)!

5.15pm – 6pm: Awards ceremony for top players.

Suitable for ages 7 and up. Children and adults are welcome.

Please note: Children aged 9 and below must be accompanied by an adult for this programme.

Please arrive on time for registration.

About the Facilitator

This event is run by ScrabbleFamSG as part of the Singapore National Scrabble Championship, organized by Scrabble Association (SA)

ScrabbleFamSG is a team of passionate Scrabble enthusiasts and coaches committed to spreading the joy of Scrabble to everyone - from those completely new to the game, to those familiar with it seeking recreational play, and even to those preparing for competitive matches. They organize monthly sessions at Geylang East Public Library.
