About this Event
SCRA Midwest ECO Conference 2026
Date & Time: November 13–14, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Venue: Adler University Chicago Campus
The ECO Conferences are regional extensions of the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA), bringing together community-based researchers, practitioners, students, and multidisciplinary partners to address local challenges through collaboration and action. Rooted in the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, each conference is organized and led by graduate students within its respective region.
Join us for the Midwest ECO Conference 2026, a student-led event dedicated to advancing community-based research and social action. This gathering provides a platform for meaningful dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among students, scholars, and community organizations committed to creating positive social change.
This year’s theme, Ignite, Empower, Reimagine, commemorates the 50th rendition of ECO by inspiring advocacy and innovation, elevating community voices, and envisioning creative pathways toward a more just and equitable future.
We look forward to engaging discussions, impactful partnerships, and collaborative efforts that foster empowerment and strengthen communities across the Midwest.
