Space Coast Runners’ Youth Series offers fun races for kids ages 12 & under at 6 different track events in conjunction with the SCR Runner of the Year Series 2024 - 2025. This is Race #5.These non-competitive runs are FREE, but parents will be required to sign a waiver for their children to participate. All kids who participate receive a Finisher Prize at each race. If they wish, parents may run along with their children that are 3 years of age and under.
DISTANCES vary per age group
AGE GROUP DISTANCE
3 & under 100 meters
4 years old 1/8 mile (200 meters)
5 & 6 years old 1/8 mile (200 meters)
7 & 8 years old 1/4 mile (400 meters)
9 & 10 years old 1/4 mile (400 meters)
11 & 12 years old 1/2 mile (800 meters)
Kids that are SCR members who complete all 6 races will earn the exclusive Ran All Races Challenge cozy blanket.
