About this Event
The Sawyer Culberson Project of Save the Kids (SCP) invites the community to join us for our 4th Annual Fentanyl Awareness Day, a free, family‑friendly event dedicated to education, prevention, remembrance, and hope.
This day is held in loving memory of Sawyer Culberson, whose life was tragically lost to fentanyl poisoning at just 17 years old. Sawyer’s story fuels our mission to ensure other families never have to experience the same loss. Through compassion, education, and action, we work to protect youth, empower parents, and save lives.
Throughout the day, attendees will have access to life‑saving Narcan training and demonstrations, overdose recognition education, and guidance on how to talk with children and teens about fentanyl. Community partners will be onsite sharing resources, support services, and prevention tools. There will also be food, coffee, and family‑friendly activities in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Volunteers are encouraged and welcome—whether you can help for an hour or stay for the entire day, your presence makes a difference.
Together, we honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and take action to protect our kids and our community.
