💙💛 PACK 254 LENOIR IS GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY! 💛💙
🥫🛒 This November, Cub Scout Pack 254 Lenoir is focusing on collecting non-perishable food items for local food pantries throughout Lenoir, NC! 🏡❤️
As Scouts, we believe in helping others, serving our community, and doing our best to make a difference. We invite our friends, families, neighbors, and local businesses to join us in helping families who may be facing difficult times.
📅 Here’s how you can help!
🏡 November 14th – Neighborhood Outreach: Our Scouts will be visiting neighborhoods to leave postcards letting residents know we’ll be back to collect donations the following week.
🥫 November 21st – Food Drive: Find us at Food Lion on Wilkesboro Blvd in Lenoir all day! We’ll be collecting non-perishable food donations to help support local food pantries.
💙 Need a pickup instead? Send Pack 254 Lenoir a message right here on Facebook! One of our leaders can coordinate a convenient time and place to collect your donation.
🎁 Suggested donations include:
- Canned vegetables, fruits, soups, and meats
- Peanut butter and other shelf-stable spreads
- Pasta, rice, and boxed meals
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Canned beans and other pantry staples
- Other unopened, shelf-stable foods
Every can, box, and bag makes a difference! Even a small donation can help put food on someone's table. ❤️
From all of us at Pack 254, thank you to our wonderful Lenoir community for supporting our Scouts and helping us care for our neighbors. Together, we can show our children the power of kindness, generosity, and service!
🐾 “Do a Good Turn Daily!”
