Scotty McCreery
Having been a household name for nearly half his life, ever since making history in 2011 as both the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, the Platinum-certified Clear as Day, at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. With his latest album Rise & Fall, featuring his sixth No. 1 single Cab in a Solo, current single Fall of Summer and 12 additional tracks, McCreery explores classic themes of heartbreak, rowdy nights, nostalgia, faith, newfound joy, fatherhood, enduring love, and through it all, felt comfortable being himself, resulting in a project full of electrified twang, rich baritone vocals and insightful storytelling.
The Johner Brothers
Joining McCreery on his first time in Saskatoon are Saskatchewan’s own The Johner Brothers. Brad and Ken took the Canadian Country music world by storm in 1991 with the release of Goodbye for Good. That year they were honoured with the Canadian Country Music Award for Duo or Group of the Year. Since then, they racked up two more CCMA’s, several Western Canadian music awards, four Juno nominations and an unprecedented 56 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. The Johner Brothers are back together with 3 of the Johner Boys to entertain fans across Canada.
Hailey Benedict
Hailey Benedict is hailed as “the future star of country music” by Citytv and praised as a “prodigy whose star is definitely on the rise” by the Calgary Herald. The guitar wielding, CCMA Award-winner drew international attention at the age of 14 when Keith Urban pulled her up on stage for an impromptu performance in front of a sold out crowd, instantly catapulting her into the spotlight.
2023 was a monumental year for Hailey, culminating in her victory at the SiriusXM Top of the Country competition. This past summer, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of performing on the main stage at Big Valley Jamboree, her hometown festival where she has been a lifelong attendee. After summer came to an end, she celebrated another milestone, announcing her signing of a worldwide record and publishing deal with Bid Loud/Local Hay. Benedict’s quarter-million strong following on TikTok helped earn her a CCMA Award win for Interactive Artist of the Year, and she picked up another nomination at the 2024 awards in the Breakthrough Artist category. Benedict introduced her next chapter with the single Things My Mama Says, her first release with Big Loud Records/Local Hay.
